Psalms 119:105 AMP

Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path. [Prov 6:23]

  “Just say it.”

When we read the word–word, we all immediately think of it as God’s word—the bible, but what about that “little voice” you hear? Is this intuition, or is this the voice of The Holy Spirit—the word/voice of God?

The written word of God, or the Bible, is the only thing we have from ancient times, but we forget that Christ promised that God will send the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby) [John 14: 15-26 amp]. What happened? Why can’t we hear the Voice (spoken word) of God?

When you accepted Jesus as the son of God, you instantly became part of something greater, you became family. This means you have the same access as Jesus has; his blood has sanctified you, so that when you approach Father God, you are seen blameless, and everything is forgiven. You get marked by the Spirit and all the abilities of the kingdom.

So what do we do with this knowledge, and why are we still walking blindly in this world? We are so lost, although we have found Christ! We stare up at pulpits for guidance when we have the Holy Spirit living within us. God gave you the spirit as a “mark,” a sign to set you apart from this world and also to empower you for the work that he called you for.

Set yourself apart today as you earnestly seek God’s face and ask for the covering of the Holy Spirit—the mark. You lay down your “self” today, so that there is space in your heart. If you haven’t been baptized yet, get it done ASAP! Just say it today! Father, I need and yearn for you to fill me with your Spirit! Please consume me completely.

Let’s Pray:

Father, my life is bland and of no purpose to your kingdom. I re-invest my focus on you and your Kingdom. Do away with anything that will restrict me from getting closer to you. Open my ears to your VOICE – to your spoken word!

In Jesus’ name. Amen!
