Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value].
Awaken to your Truth.
We all have some sense of how close the return of Christ Jesus really is. It’s like a soft whisper on the wind calling, “Get ready—pave the way for the King!” If we can set all things aside and put our focus on “the return,” we can all play a part in bringing more people to Jesus.
Where is your viewpoint on proclaiming the good news—on the things above, is this responsibility meant for only the select few, or does this amazing “paying it forward” opportunity rest on everyone who acknowledges Jesus as Lord?
In His own words: “And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” Mark 16:15
I think Salvation was not given to us to be kept silent. This free gift and this new life we are living right now were meant to be shared with all walks of life. There must be a good reason why Jesus kept these specific words as his last here on earth. If He deems them important, we must follow!
Father, thank you that you thought about me when you sent your Son to pay the ransom on my soul. If I deem my own life more than your kingdom in any way, please forgive me!
I don’t know where or how to start telling people about you. Fire up my soul to your message. Make these words alive in my heart!
