You are just faking it. Why is this?

GALATIANS 5 :13

13 For you, my brothers, were called to freedom; only do not let your freedom become an opportunity for the sinful nature (worldliness, selfishness), but through love serve and seek the best for one another.

“The Spirit”

Our focus will be on verse 13, but to get a greater understanding, please read chapter 5. If you have been following our newsletter, you would have seen me talking about “the Spirit” quite a lot lately. I feel pressed on my spirit to drive this point hard.

WHY IS THIS? We have been blindsided by our own leaders and also our own doing. We might have been born here but the moment you become born again, something new starts growing within your mind; you can’t keep being the same anymore. This little seed spreads and as it grows, it should intertwine with soul and mind, but it will die if we do not allow the Spirit of God to consume us. The process from lost to child of God needs to be completed in full.

So, how can it be that people do not even know that you are a Christian? You go to church; you read the Bible and can quote a few verses. You try to have a “Christian” thinking but the problem is that you are not filled by the spirit—you are empty. You are just faking it. Why is this? Have you done something wrong? No, I blame our spiritual leaders, those who have the authority to guide us.  They are not being obedient to Christ!

Do you want to be filled and live a righteous, Holy Spirit-filled life? Do you want a life that will stand out and where you move, you create a space where God can move and heal! Wherever you go, people will know Christ!

Let’s Pray:

Father, it is time! I want more, and not just a small bit—I want it all—all of you! Fill me to the brim; wash me clean with your living water so that I thirst no more. Complete me by the indwelling of your Spirit. Lead me, show me, and teach me your ways! Make me understand and see! I want to meet you face-to-face.

In Jesus’ name. Amen!
