Acts 20:24

“However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.”

Aimless wander

Let us stop and think about this: how many of us will just give up and lay down everything? Not many, I would say, but here is the truth: we are all bound to Christ, whether you like it or not.

If you have a purpose, which is clearly set out in the word of God, you can live a life of splendour and adventure. I’m not talking about financial success, comfort, or the false teachings of “prosperity Christians.” You were created on purpose for a specific purpose; this process of finding the real you is not always easy for all of us and can create a chaotic life filled with pain and discomfort if you try tackling it all by your lonesome self.

But there is one clear message of purpose in God’s word, which applies to all who love God. Mark 16:15–18 helps us to understand that His kingdom’s creed needs to be made known to those in the world. So, how do we apply Christ to this broken world that clearly thinks they can exist without Christ in their lives?

SIMPLE, you just be you! You apply Christ in everything you do, including how you walk and talk. You purposely project Christ to the world… The harvest is ready; are you getting ready for your true purpose?

Let’s Pray:

Father, you called me for a purpose and a plan. I surrender so that you can do your wonder and work of salvation in my own life. May I become a worker for your kingdom, which strives for the things of your Kingdom above? Please reveal my true purpose!

In Jesus’ name. Amen!
