The same as before.
Hebrews 11:6
“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
“The same state as before.”
Even though the new norm is to see before believing, we as children of God cannot have the same viewpoint. God is not hiding but is instead waiting for us on the other side of the veil. The more we seek Him in truth and in spirit, the deeper we walk into the heavenly realms. The reward is great, as you get to meet God face-to-face!
Father God yearns for us to get this concept. He is saying, “I sent my Son, who paid the ransom for your soul, which enables you to see me freely, and then I filled you up with my Spirit, which enables a pure connection with the spiritual realm. After all this, it is your duty to seek, yearn for, and constantly maintain this connection on a daily basis.”
I do understand that, with the rush and responsibilities we all have, we tend to put connecting to heaven on the back burner. But for you to be truly free and take hold of this new life in Christ Jesus, we have to, without ceasing, deepen our connection with Father God. Without this unique connection, we just return to the same state as before we were saved.
Father, I mess things up and make other things more important than you. My mind is constantly on worries and finances, while it should be on you! Please forgive me.
Today, help me to make time to reflect on the things from above. Help me to see You clearly.
