“Into heavenly places”
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
“Into heavenly places”
Rejoice, Pray, and Say Thank you. Is this order a coincidence, or can there be something deeper?
Rejoice and rethink/reflect on the old ways God has blessed and answered your prayers. Prayer is our way of connecting to our source and powering UP! Giving Thanks means being grateful for all the ways God has helped and also for future helpings of God’s glory and grace in our lives.
You won’t be able to see or experience this if you are too busy and rushed. These 3 things are like a set—combined—and never should be separated. It’s like meditation and getting you into heavenly places.
Let me explain: When you start rejoicing, you reflect on past and present ways on how Father God has provided. If you focus on your current circumstances and they are not good, you won’t be able to rejoice. Who in their right mind can be happy when everything is falling apart around them. So, when you Rejoice you humbly reflect on how God has heard you and answered. When you rejoice, you start praising God for His goodness. Your heart s approach chances and so as well your mind–You refocus!
Now, that your mind is aligned with the spirit you can connect and ask, talk, walk however you spend time with God. Prayer is our way of connecting in with God’s power. If you want to see miracles happen around you, spend more time in the pray zone. You will start seeing things falling in line with God’s word and will for you!
Always remember to close your prayer session by giving thanks for all the past, present, and future blessings. When you do this, you sign your prayer request. This signature of faith seals the deal.
Let’s Pray:
Father, teach me the way I should pray… Help me to understand the connections I make when I talk with you.
In Jesus’ name. Amen!
