2 Corinthians 10: 3For though we walk in the flesh [as mortal men], we are not carrying on our [spiritual] warfare according to the flesh and using the weapons of man. 4The weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood]. Our weapons are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. 5We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ,

There is power in the Name of Jesus. To fully understand this statement is to realize you can call life over everything in your world right now. Take your finances, for example—they won’t just “work themselves out” or fall into place on their own. You have to claim them back! How? In the Name of Jesus.

Sometimes God opens doors for us; other times, He does not. It is in those moments of chaos that we are called to expand and grow. Think of it like renovating a house: sometimes you have to break down walls to see the vision come to life. That breakthrough requires labor—cutting with a grinder, hammering through the resistance, and finally making the opening.

Our lives are the same. We are co-authors of our stories, but that doesn’t mean we act alone. We must lay our plans at the feet of God. He has given us the tools to live fully through the power of the Cross. As His people, we have the authority to speak life or death, to break curses, and to release blessings and healing—all by calling out: “IN THE NAME OF JESUS!”

Today, start calling on that Name over every obstacle and every power trying to steal God’s promises. Believe that God has a purpose for you on this earth. Claim it!
